My name is Marie Carmen Garcia and I am the Catland Veterinary. For as long as I can remember I knew that my vocation would be towards animals.

I grew up in a home filled with many pets who were my best friends. I could never imagine a life without animals. I am eternally grateful to my mother who instilled the importance of caring for and loving every type of creature in our family.

I have lived and worked in Jávea since 1992. Due to my father’s profession, we lived in many parts of Spain. Whilst living in Cordoba ( a city that I love) I studied at the university where I graduated as a veterinarian. After qualifying, I moved to Jávea where I opened up my veterinary clinic.

Over the years I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in various fields of veterinary medicine such as internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, geriatric animal medicine, and feline medicine.

My vision of veterinary practice is to carry it out professionally using the best techniques available and never forgetting that our beloved pets are sentimental beings with a soul.

I work with Catland Javea because I care for the welfare and health of cats borne to our streets, lost or abandoned. Since I met Claire and Syl I know that they share the same spirit and love that I have and feel that together we can change the lives of many of Javea’s street cats.

I encourage you to collaborate and help Catland Javea: the street cats need us.
